1. What are the differences between PCR cloning, subcloning and mutagenesis? |
1) PCR cloning is to use PCR method to clone a gene to a vector, screening and sequencing confirmation is usually required because PCR may introduce mutations. 2) Subcloning is to use restriction enzymes to move one gene from one vector to another vector. Screening and sequencing confirmation may not be necessary. 3) Mutagenesis is to create a mutant from your original clone. |
|
2. Can you help us to design the cloning strategy? |
Yes, we can help you to design the cloning strategy. Depending on the complexity of the design, there will be some extra charge. |
|
3.Can I get some discount for bulk orders? |
Crnbio has capacity to handle large-scale orders. Please ask for quote. |
4. Do you provide protein expression service for the cloned gene? |
Crnbio also provides protein expression and purification services for the synthesized genes. GenScript scan express protein in a variety of systems including bacteria, yeast, baculovirus, and mammalian cell. |
|
5. What is the delivery package? |
The delivery will include 5 ug of miniprep plasmid, and the sequencing data if required. |
|
6. Can you ship us the bacteria instead of DNA? |
For shipping convenience, we can ship the DNA. However, we can provide you the bacteria if you do need it. There will be additional extra charge for that. |
|
7. What is the delivery time frame? |
The typical delivery time is 10 business days. They delivery time may vary depending on the complexity of the project. |
